Fish and Chips with Beer Batter
Lazy day in requires some fast and somehow greasy food. We decided to have some fish and chips, served with pickles and...beer.
The Fish
You can use any white fish. I used a classic beer batter with beer, flour and baking powder. First, season the fillets with salt and pepper, then dust them in some flour, dip them in batter and let the excess drip. Cook them until they turn golden and crisp.
The Chips
Peel your potatoes and slice them into chips. Half-boil them, then drain them and let them dry. Fry the chips in the oil that you have fried the fish. It will give it a nice flavour.
